Tom has a gifted hand and his 40 years of making wine in Napa created a lovely opulent wine from this vintage. In this vintage of Cabernet Sauvignon, we have a higher percentage Merlot in the blend at 7%, with 2% Cabernet Franc and 1% Petite Verdot (PV). I was amazed that 1% (PV) of anything could make such an impact on the wine. Tom does it again. If you are a classic old school Napa Cabernet drinker, you will recognize this wine.
