A barrel aged blend of Merlot and Syrah from the hills of Coombsville above the city of Napa. We love the fruit from this AVA. The wine has a deep brilliant burgundy hue and a dense strong black cherry character. This is our first red wine blend. Hope you enjoy!
The aroma has floral hints of red rose and violets, and of baking spice, dried sage, nutmeg, and clove. Light hints of oak influence driven by black fruit complete the palate. Velvety tannins create an elegant, lingering finish of blackberry and Bing cherry to finish out this wine. Aged 18 months in French oak.
